The hundred years' war was mainly a dynastic conflict between France and England that lasted for 116 years from 1337 to 1453. Primarily France and the low countries were the locations for this 100 year's war. As a result of this 100 years' war, France secured control of all English. This 100 years' war was in fact a series of conflicts and is divided into four phases - The Edwardin war (1337-1360), The Caroline war(1369-1389), the Lancastrian war (1415-1429) and Joan of Arc(1412-1431). T oday I was just surfing the Internet in the morning and I have found some rare sculptures that I w ish to s hare with you. These are really nice. A Rare Sculpture of the Chimpanzee 'Sally' by Rowland Ward of London ( 1800 to 1900 ) Dimensions: 21.50cm wide 34.00cm high 19.00cm deep (8.46 inches wide 13.39 inc he s high 7 .48 inches deep) Rowland Ward was a famous, innovative and world renowned taxidermist whose shop at 'The Jungle, Picadilly' at the end of the 19th Century became a social institution for sporting enthusiasts. One of Rowland Ward's first commissions was to sculpt small models of animals which were cast in bronze. A model of a lion was created for the Duke of Connaught in 1911 and is now in the collections of the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff. Today I had a hectic schedule in my office and while surfing the Internet I suddenly stopped by 9/11 pictures. Oh! God. It is terrible! It had taken me back on the day September 11 2001. September 11 2001 , a tragic day "when a series of coordinated terrorist suicide attacks by Islamic extremists , on that date, 9/11 , upon the United States of America " occured. I remember that day when I got a call from one of my NRI friend and heard about the Twin Towers being destroyed as the "The tremendous force exploded the walls and entire structure out horizontally of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers.
